Wind of change has to blow
wave of sea has to storm 
the sun has to melt
and the ice has to burn
 
Do we know what we want
do we know where we are
do we know every mountain
there is to be known
 
We all have to dive
in no mans land
and the world has to go
our steps to the grave
 
Who know how it feels
to be nothing at all
who know how it feels
on eternal flight
 
Open our eyes
close them still
wind of change has to blow
our bird has to fly
